Use for: Lexmark series:
12A1980, 1380619, 12A1140, 17G0060, 13619HC, 15MO120, 1382060
Contents: 1 Cartridge holder, 1 screwdriver, 3
needles, 3 syringes (20ml/each), 1 label
Using steps:
1) Put the cartridge into the cartridge holder, and
stick the label into the cartridge in the direction indicated by the arrow on
the label. (The colors on the label are correspondent with the colors of
the ink. The three holes on the label are the positions for drilling
filling holes on the cartridge.) ( see fig 1)
2) Drill three holes on the cartridge vertically
from the positions indicated on the label ( deep to about 8 - 10 mm) see
fig 2
3) Take out the related syringe (color of the label indicates
color of the ink) Substitute the sealing cap from the syringe with a
needle. Insert the needle into the corresponding hole and depress the
plunger slowly until the cartridge is full (about 5-8ml). see fig 3, 4, 5
4) After refilling take the cartridge out of the holder and clean the nozzle
with tissue paper. Then reload the cartridge into the printer and run
"head cleaning" utility 2-3 times before printing test on nozzle
test.
Repeat steps to fill the ink for a second time.
Notice:
Make sure that the ink in the cartridge has
already run out (although not completely) before refilling.
Printing results will be affected if the cartridge dries or is
damaged. If printing results do not become normal even after step 5 is
repeated for several times, leave the cartridge in the holder or the printer
overnight before performing printing test or nozzle test again. If it
still remains abnormal, the print head is already damaged and the cartridge will
have to be replaced.
In step 3, the color of the ink must be corresponding with the color
indicated on the label in case of wrong filling, the cartridge will be
damaged.
* Note: Set of instructions
similar to one above will be included with your order.
